Renovation truckwash Zeewolde

The truck wash at the SuperTank petrol station in Zeewolde has had a real makeover. The interior of the truckwash has been re-lined with white Cleanpanel panels against the walls. This not only gives the truck wash a fresh look, but also makes it much easier to maintain.

In this project, the plastic wall panels were hung five centimetres above the ground and the floor was spread in a curve behind the panels. This creates a nice connection between the wall and the floor, which is easy to keep clean.

Plastic panels for less maintenance

At Cleanbuild we often see it: carwash employees who stand around every day cleaning on out-of-date tile walls. The tiles, once white, seem impossible to clean. The cause is corrosion. After long and intensive use, the glaze layer of the tiles wears down and small pits appear. Dirt can easily adhere to these damaged tiles, making them almost impossible to clean.

Plastic panels offer a great solution to this problem. Cleanbuild’s plastic panels have a corrosion-free and super smooth surface. Dirt has great difficulty adhering to them. Walls covered with synthetic panels are therefore very easy to clean. In addition, Cleanpanel panels are made of hard PVC, a particularly strong material. Hard PVC hardly wears out and is impact-resistant, so the people in Zeewolde will enjoy fresh, white walls for years to come.

At the right length

With walls more than three metres high, the truck wash in Zeewolde obviously needed extra long wall panels. What’s handy about Cleanpanel is that the panels are produced directly to the correct length, even for truckwashes. This means that even very high walls can be covered tightly and almost seamlessly.
